The first tab, "General Provisions,” contains provisions which apply to all the remaining codes, which are specific to particular types of corporations. “Public Benefit” refers to the “Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law,” “Mutual Benefit” to the “Nonprofit Mutual Benefit Corporation Law,” and “Religious” to the “Nonprofit Religious Corporation Law.” The remaining tab, “Corporations Sole” contains those provisions applicable to particular hierarchical institutions, such as those presided over by a bishop in whose name church property is held.
